Strategic Innovation Fund – Stream 2 (Firm Expansion and Growth) The Strategic Innovation Fund supports businesses with large projects in innovation efforts that have commercialization potential. This stream supports expansion or material improvement of existing industrial/ technological facilities or projects. Canada-wide
Strategic Innovation Fund – Stream 3 (Investment attraction and reinvestment) The Strategic Innovation Fund supports businesses with large projects in innovation efforts that have commercialization potential. Dairy Processing Investment Fund This program aims to assist dairy processors in adapting to market changes resulting from the Canadian-European Union's comprehensive and economic trade agreement. Canada-wide
Southwestern Ontario Development Fund (SWODF) This program is aimed to support economic development in southwestern Ontario by supporting projects that create jobs, attract private sector investment, lead to business growth, and encourage innovation. ON
FedDev Ontario – Business Scale Up and Productivity  This program supports business efforts to adopt/ adapt new, innovative technologies to help accelerate growth. The program hopes to assist in scale-up/ expansion, commercialization of new technologies, adaption/ adoption of leading-edge technologies/ processes, market diversification. ON
Canada Small Business Financing Program  This funding is provides loans to for-profit, small, Canadian businesses with gross revenues of $10 million or less. There is a registration fee associated with the program (2% of the loan) that can be included in the loan. This program is delivered and approved by financial institutions, and then they will register the loan with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. Canada-wide
CME Technology Assessment Program (TAP) The Technology Assessment Program connects SME’s manufacturers in southern Ontario manufacturers with qualified experts to get customized technology assessments. ON
Manitoba Industrial Opportunities Program (MIOP) This program supports business in Manitoba expand or relocate within the province by providing repayable funding. BC, MB, SK
Market Readiness Program (OCE) On behalf of the Government of Ontario, OCI supports early-stage companies that are raising pre-seed and seed investments (total round sizes range from $500,000 to $2 million). Market Readiness is a competitive co-investment fund. ON
NOHFC INVEST North Program – Grow Stream The Invest North Program is designed to boost economic growth in Northern Ontario by encouraging businesses to invest in transformative, strategic and complementary business development opportunities in Northern communities. The program will support productivity, innovation, business competitiveness, revenue growth, export capacity development, job creation and retention. ON
Tourism Development Fund (TDF)  Through strategic project-based funding, the Tourism Development Fund will assist not-for-profit organizations, national and/or provincial industry sector associations, municipalities, and businesses to develop quality tourism products, encourage the competitiveness of our tourism sector organizations, stimulate increased tourist attendance and expenditures, and encourage private sector tourism investment in Ontario. Ag Action Manitoba  – Market Development The Market Development grant helps agri-processors and industry service providers with marketing activities that increase innovation and business capacity to expand or maintain existing market presence. This program is currently closed. BC, MB, SK
Ag Action Manitoba  – Research and Innovation The Research and Innovation activity provides grants to eligible applicants for applied research, capacity building and knowledge transfer projects that advance the growth and sustainability of the agriculture industry by fast-tracking the pace of innovation. CAP – On-Farm Value- Added Program This program supports projects that are focused on the growth of Alberta's producers adding value to their commodity products. Value adding activities include creating jobs, supporting investment, expanding into new markets, developing new products, and increasing sales of value adding product.
