NRC IRAP – Funding to Hiring Young Graduates
This program focuses on supporting companies in hiring youth workers (age between 15-30 years) to contribute to their innovation efforts. The internships should be 6-12 months in length and within Canada; the program will share a portion of the salary costs, not including overhead costs and incentives.

How Much Funding?
Up to $30,000 per graduate for a 12-month work placement, to a maximum of two candidates

Who Qualifies?
Canada-wide
- SME (500 or fewer full time employees)
- Incorporated and for-profit
- Ready to enhance your innovation capacity and willing to partner with NRC IRAP

Eligible Activities & Expenditures
Hiring youth workers (age between 15-30 years) to contribute to their innovation efforts (e.g. R&D, engineering, multimedia, market analysis components, developing new product/process).
