This program supports Canadian companies in their efforts to develop and demonstrate new environmental technologies that address climate change, clean air, clean water, and clean soil.

How Much Funding?
On average 33% of eligible projects costs (up to 40%)
- Average contribution of $2 million to $5 million, with funds disbursed over the life of the project up to a five-year period
- Maximum government funding in case of stacking is 75%

Who Qualifies?
Canada-wide Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that form a consortium that includes at least one other partner

Eligible Activities & Expenditures
Development and demonstration of innovative Canadian technological solutions that address climate change, clean air, clean water and clean soil
- Salaries
- Professional, scientific, technical and contractual services costs (e.g. trades, contracts, third party verification)
- Field testing services
- Feasibility studies
- License fees and permits
- Supplies and equipment
- Purchase, installation, repair, upgrade, testing and commissioning of equipment, materials, products
- Other directly related costs

Program Deadline
The applications are processed on a rolling basis.
