What Is Canada Digital Adoption Program – Stream1: Grow Your Business Online?

The Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) Stream 1: Grow Your Business Online is a program that provides funding to not-for-profit organizations with expertise in helping small businesses implement digital storefronts and e-commerce capabilities. It offers a micro-grant of up to $2,400 to help small businesses with the costs related to adopting digital technologies. The grant helps SMEs get online, increase sales, adopt security software, connect with customers, improve social media marketing and improve the user experience for online customers.

The Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) is an investment of $4 billion that aims to help businesses of all sizes expand their digital adoption and reach customers in an increasingly digital world. The program is comprised of two streams: Stream 1: Grow Your Business Online and Stream 2: Boost Your Business Tech.

How Much Funding?

Businesses: up to $2,400
Service Providers: businesses @ up to $2,400 each, students @ up to $7,300 each, and Operational costs for intermediaries

WHO QUALIFIES?

Businesses: Is a for-profit business (including for-profit social enterprises and co-operatives); is a registered or incorporated business; is a consumer-facing business; can be accessed by consumers or provides in-person services to consumers; has at least one employee.

Eligible Activities & Expenditures

Costs related to adopting digital technologies, costs as well as support and advice from a network of youth digital advisors, building e-commerce and other activities that support the objectives of Grow Your business Online
