Talent Opportunities Program (TOP)

TOP brings together employers, students, and post-secondary school stakeholders to create quality work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities. The student can be from any program of study in a Canadian college or university, and there are no restrictions on the type of position.

What Is Talent Opportunities Program (TOP)?

The Talent Opportunities Program (TOP) is a nationwide initiative that supports Canadian employers in hiring college and university students for work-integrated learning placements. Funded by the Government of Canada’s Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) and administered by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC), TOP is accessible to employers of all sizes and industries across Canada.

How Much Funding?

Up to 50% of wages, to a max of $5,000. For students in under-represented groups: up to 70% to a maximum of $7000

WHO QUALIFIES?

– Registered, Canadian business or not-for-profit
– May be located anywhere in Canada, and may operate in any industry sector.
