How Much Funding?

Contribution for a project will normally not exceed $50,000. If you have multiple funding projects within the program, the total contribution towards all projects cannot exceed $100,000.

WHO QUALIFIES?

For-profit organizations operating in the agriculture, agri-food, and agri-based sector industry, including the fish and seafood industry, that exist to make a profit. They can include:
– Businesses and/or corporations
– Co-operatives
– Indigenous groups

Eligible Activities & Expenditures

Eligible activities include those required to obtain a third-party certification to address international market requirements to expand export opportunities for Canadian agriculture and agri-food including fish and seafood products. 

 

– Salaries and benefits of employees involved in the project
– Contracted services
– Travel costs directly related to the project
– Other project-related costs
