ENCQOR 5G TalentEdge Internships

This program provides support for current college and university students and recent graduates, to work on research and development projects related to 5G, wireless and digital technologies at Ontario-based SMEs.

ENCQOR 5G TalentEdge Internships is a program under the ENCQOR 5G initiative that offers internship opportunities in the 5G technology field to students and recent graduates. The program provides hands-on experience, collaboration with industry professionals, and skill development in areas like wireless communications, network infrastructure, IoT, cybersecurity, and data analytics.

The ENCQOR 5G TalentEdge Internships program is crucial for addressing talent needs in the 5G industry by providing practical internship opportunities. How Much Funding?

$10,000 per four month unit up to a maximum of $60,000

WHO QUALIFIES?

– For-profit, incorporated in Ontario or Canada, and has a valid CRA business number
– Small- or medium-sized Enterprise
– Has operations and/or R&D in Ontario related to the project TalentEdge Internship Program (TIP) – ENCQOR 5G PAGE | 4
– In good financial and reporting standing with OCI

Eligible Activities & Expenditures

Hiring final year or recent grad undergraduate student or current student/ recent graduate level student to assist in developing 5G, wireless or digital technology-based innovation or innovative processes for competitive advantage in provincial, national and/ or global markets in response to an ENCQOR 5G SME Technology Development Challenge Statement or, preferably, utilizing the iPaaS testbed.

Directly related project costs used only for the project.
