By providing financial resources, technical expertise, and access to Hydro-Québec’s extensive infrastructure, the program empowers entrepreneurs, startups, and research institutions to transform their ideas into tangible and market-ready products or services. Through a rigorous selection process, promising projects are chosen to receive support, ensuring the advancement of high-potential technologies in the energy industry.

How Much Funding?

Up to 75% to a maximum of $500,000

WHO QUALIFIES?

– Legal entity that operate in the residential, agricultural, commercial, institutional or industrial industry
– Must be in business in Québec for more than 12 months

Eligible Activities & Expenditures

R&D and commercialization of innovative energy-saving or power demand optimization measures.

Project must focus on at least one of the following:
– Use of a new technology
– The new application or improvement of an existing technology
– Adoption of an innovative business strategy

Equipment (rental, purchase, installation, commissioning)
Labour costs
Contractor
Advertising
Non-refundable GST/QST
