It supports automotive companies in adopting advanced technologies to enhance competitiveness. Through financial assistance, the program accelerates the growth of Ontario’s automotive sector, strengthens the industry’s ecosystem, fosters collaboration, and attracts investment, positioning Ontario as a global hub for automotive innovation and manufacturing excellence.

How Much Funding?

Up to 50% of eligible costs to a maximum of $150,000

WHO QUALIFIES?

– SME (<500 employees OR <$1B annual revenue);
– Financially positive;
– Only one application per company;
– Minimum of two years of financial statements; and
– Ontario automotive parts manufacturers (at least 50% of total revenues must be generated from the automotive supply sector).

The application period for fall 2022/winter 2023 is now closed. Information about future application rounds will be announced in summer 2023.
