Startups in the geospatial industry can access financial assistance through the program, enabling them to develop their products and bring them to market. TECTERRA also offers guidance, mentorship, and networking opportunities, connecting startups with industry experts, customers, and investors. By providing this support, TECTERRA empowers startups to navigate commercialization challenges, refine their strategies, and increase their chances of success.

– Repayable contributions up to 50%, within the range of $150,000-$500,000
– Stacking not permitted

WHO QUALIFIES?

– For-profit
– Incorporated and operating in Alberta
– 1-500 full-time employees
– Annual sales revenue does not exceed $50M

Eligible Activities & Expenditures

Commercialization projects for innovative geospatial technology products with budgets greater than $300,000

-Focuses on projects that can create jobs, contribute to company growth, and diversify the economy

Projects should last 12-24 months and must include:
– Development of innovative products including geospatial that include geospatial technology in the value chain
– Include a comprehensive technology commercialization plan
– Have a well-defined target market or customer
– Provide regular full-time employment for at least one net new highly qualified personnel
